All this pubstomping-game mechanics are boring right now. Its only a question of time.
For the good gamers between us, wich want to fight with people with the same personal FPS skills. Also for the newberries after short time.
Imo the way it worked now, it can't be a balanced matchfinder.
After one year Dust the most of them (wich started with uprising) are about 20-30 million SP. These ones wich started in closed and open Beta are still more. Everyone of them can fit what ever they want and play like they want (specially after this respec).
But then comes the rules. Only 16vs16. No, it cant work. The only way to win, as an newcomer or advanced, against such ++ber-soldiers are the mass of a Legion.
I like the way this std, adv, proto tiers works, with this part of game mechanics, i like to play.
The most of the Protowearing Vets searching for chellenge. And i mean not this "okay how long did we need to redline the enemy?"mentality.
Sometimes on battlefield i think we, the bluedots, need more people. Did you ever play against the top twenty of the dust-players? I think they can handle a mass more of enemys. Iam not so good, maybe should be part of the mass. For me an 16vs16 with two full squads proto as an enemy, wich redlined us in a way i cant discribe and hunt us down, shows me, that they need a chellenge.
In the way EVE works and in they way the universe should work, there is no rule, but chellenge.
In wich war, the enemy is comin with the same numbers of Soldiers?
In wich war, the enemy is sayin when he comes, and the attacked say, that in wich time that will happend?
In wich war, you can not attack, cause it is attacked?
Open this Universe! Atm it feels like a fenced Area, where the best and the richest can have everything and let us not be a part of the game. But they do, cause its the mechanic. I also would do that, if i can ( iam a bad player).
It should possible that WE can attack an district everytime we want, with so many people like WE want! Okay you can fight in an empty district, or an district, where only one proto squad defend the building. But you have a chance to attack an district. And to conquer him.
Dust514 and the SANDBOX...where i can not play with. Let me be part of this! You say EVE is an hard universe. For me its not hard, its to small and hard feels the borderfence in my neck! Too many rules of how and when something will happend.
If i could have an free wish, i would wish that this world, this fantastic universe grow open without rules. We will find ways, cause we are mankind, and mankind loves building something! Give us more tools to create something! An place where we can be!
Meanwhile, i try to get some money, like in my boring worktime.
